Contextual Details

Climate Considerations: Vero Beach’s coastal setting exposes outdoor courts to salt air, humidity, strong sunlight, and frequent rain. These elements can dull finishes and affect surface smoothness. A UV-resistant resurfacing system was applied to preserve color clarity, surface integrity, and consistent performance in demanding seaside conditions.

Usage Patterns

As a resort amenity, the shuffleboard court welcomes guests of varying ages and experience levels throughout the day. The surface needed to feel intuitive, safe underfoot, and visually easy to follow while supporting relaxed, recreational play in a hospitality environment.

Surface Durability Needs

To withstand continuous guest use and environmental exposure, Armor Courts used a resilient resurfacing system designed for longevity and low maintenance. The renewed surface helps prevent premature wear while maintaining the smooth finish required for accurate shuffleboard play over time.
