Educational Facility Requirements: As a school athletic amenity, the court needed to accommodate a variety of activities throughout the academic year. The design focused on creating a versatile space that supports physical education classes, organized sports, and daily student recreation while maintaining consistent performance and safety standards.

Climate Considerations

Florida’s intense UV exposure, frequent rainfall, and year-round humidity can accelerate wear on outdoor athletic surfaces. Armor Courts installed a high-performance acrylic coating system engineered to withstand these conditions while helping preserve color vibrancy, traction, and surface integrity over time.

Surface Performance and Durability

The project required a long-lasting athletic surface capable of handling continuous student use and regular maintenance activities. The selected sports surfacing system provides reliable footing, improved playability, and resistance to cracking and weather-related deterioration, helping maximize the lifespan of the facility while minimizing future upkeep requirements.
